About
Wuhou Shrine is a historic temple dedicated to Zhuge Liang, the renowned military strategist and prime minister of the Shu Han Kingdom during the Three Kingdoms period. Built in 223 AD, this is the only temple in China dedicated to both a monarch (Liu Bei) and his minister. The complex features beautiful classical gardens, ancient cypress trees, and historic halls.

What guidebooks will not tell you - the real deal from someone who lives here
- Without knowing Three Kingdoms history, it is just a nice garden with old buildings
- English signage is limited - download a translation app or hire a guide
