How do I get from Chengdu airport to city center?

Getting from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (TFU) to the city center is not difficult, but the best option depends on your energy, luggage, and arrival time.

🚇 Metro (Best when you feel ready to navigate)
1. Take Line 18 directly from the airport to Tianfu Square in city center
2. Time: About 40-45 minutes
3. Cost: About 10 RMB ($1.40 USD)
4. Frequency: Every 5-10 minutes
5. Hours: 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM
6. The station is directly connected to the airport terminal - just follow the signs

🚕 Taxi/Ride-hailing (Best when you are tired, late, or carrying luggage)
